The TAS-986 is our company's highest-grade fully automatic atomic absorption spectrophotometer. All operations are controlled through the PC, with the AA-Win software based on a WINDOWS platform. The design of flame burner and graphite furnace in one compact unit enables automatic interchanging of two analytical methods. 

There are two background correction methods, self-reversal background correction and deuterium lamp background correction, to ensure the most precise analytical results. A self aligning eight-lamp turret makes for user-friendly multi-elemental atomic measurements. The unique furnace heating design ensures uniform heating and guarantee measurement accuracy. All around automatic safety precautions ensure reliable operations.

Fully automatic control

¡¤The integration of flame burner and graphite furnace in one compact unit enables automatic interchanging between the flame mode and furnace mode using few simple keystrokes.

¡¤Automatic Reflecting/Transmitting beamsplitter positioning (to lead the light of deuterium lamp into optical path) when the Deuterium Lamp Background Correction function is selected

Advanced Graphite furnace

¡¤Uniformity of the graphite tube temperature reduces chemical interference and residue interference.

¡¤ The PC-controlled heating program offers a multitude of heating method choices. The optical temperature control ensures rapid heating and extends the life of the graphite tube.

Safety Assurance

¡¤Flame Monitoring: Constant monitoring. When accidental flameout occurs, an alarm is given and the acetylene flow is stopped immediately

¡¤Pressure Monitoring: Constant air pressure detection. When abnormalities are detected, acetylene flow will be automatically cut off for safety fire extinguishing. The argon gas pressure monitor will disconnect the electricity to the graphite tube when an absence of the protective argon gas is detected.

¡¤Cooling water flow monitoring: The power supply to the furnace will only be activated for heating when the cooling water flow is determined enough to cool down the furnace body. 

¡¤Graphite Tube Fracture Protection: Power supply used for heating is automatically shut off and an alarm is given if a sudden graphite tube fracture is detected.
